Spherical roller bearings

    • Spherical roller bearings are equipped with drum roller bearings between the inner ring with two raceways and the outer ring with spherical raceways. The center of curvature of the raceway surface of the outer ring is consistent with the center of the bearing, so it has the same self-aligning function as the self-aligning ball bearing. When the shaft and casing deflect, the load and the axial load in both directions can be adjusted automatically. The radial load capacity of spherical roller bearings is large, so it is suitable for heavy load and impact load. ZYS spherical roller bearings can support high radial loads and double direction axial loads, have good impact resistance. Generally speaking, the allowed working speed of spherical roller bearings is lower.

      Five basic properties of spherical roller bearings:

      1. Wear resistance

      When the self-aligning roller bearing is in operation, not only rolling friction but also sliding friction occurs between the ring, the rolling element and the cage, so that the bearing parts are constantly worn. In order to reduce the wear of bearing parts, maintain the accuracy and stability of the self-aligning roller bearing, and extend the service life, the bearing steel should have good wear resistance.

      2. Contact fatigue strength

      Under the action of periodic load, the surface of self-aligning roller bearing is prone to fatigue damage, that is, cracking and flaking, which is the main form of damage to the bearing. Therefore, in order to increase the service life of the self-aligning roller bearing, the bearing steel must have a high contact fatigue strength.

      3. Hardness

      Hardness of spherical bearings has a direct impact on contact fatigue strength, wear resistance, and elastic limit. The hardness of bearing steel in use should generally reach HRC61 ~ 65, so that the bearing can obtain higher contact fatigue strength and wear resistance.

      4. Anti-rust performance

      In order to prevent bearing parts and finished products from being corroded and rusted during processing, storage and use, it is required that bearing steel should have good anti-rust properties.

      5. Processing performance

      In the production process of bearing parts, there are many cold and hot processing procedures. In order to meet the requirements of large quantities, high efficiency and high quality, bearing steel should have good processing performance. For example, cold and hot forming performance, cutting performance, hardenability, etc.
